MP SET 2026 Exam Pattern – A Quick Overview
The MP SET exam consists of two papers, both conducted in a single session without any break:
Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates. It tests your general knowledge of Teaching and Research Aptitude. There are 50 questions, each carrying 2 marks — making it a total of 100 marks.
Paper 2 is subject-specific. Candidates choose from 31 subjects including Hindi, English, History, Geography, Economics, Mathematics, Political Science, Sociology, Computer Science, Life Science, Law, Physical Education, and many more. This paper has 100 questions worth 2 marks each, totaling 200 marks.
